ABOUT KAVITA MEHTA
Kavita Mehta is a producer that specializes in lifestyle content. She has produced over 390 shows for the local NBC affiliate in Palm Desert. During her time at KMIR, she won an Emmy for her lifestyle show, Desert Living Hits the Road.

Her show has included content from arts, to charities, local business, and restaurants. She created an adventure series called Desert Living Hits the Road sponsored by Shottenkirk Desert Lexus which focused on the best of the best of the Coachella Valley.
​
Her background is in Theatre Arts. She has been a project manager for her theatre company The Tavern Rakes. She recently completed her masters in Global Shakespeare at Queen Mary University in London.
